PPFC U19 Girls Qualify for 2025-26 USYS Desert Conference
Traveling to Phoenix and Las Vegas this past winter for the annual two-leg Yellowstone Conference Qualifier, Pikes Peak FC’s U19 girls finished first in their division. This victory qualified the team to compete in the 2025-26 USYS National League Desert Conference.
Sarah Lambert, mother of U19 player Logan Lambert, said this about the girls’ experience: “We had a great time at the Yellowstone Qualifier, surrounded by our Pikes Peak family. The team had an awesome chance to bond and their performance in the final game of the first leg in Phoenix was a thrill. The girls came together and beat a team to whom they’d previously fallen short.”
Whitney Mason, mother of U19 player Eiley Mason, also shared her perspective: “Participating in the Yellowstone Qualifier was an exciting and valuable experience. It gave my daughter the opportunity to compete at a higher level – pushing her skills and allowing her to see how she measures up against strong teams from other regions.
“We did have some losses that highlighted the gap between where we are and where we want to be. As difficult as those matches were, they revealed areas we need to improve and prepare — both technically and mentally — if we want to keep playing at higher levels.
“Beyond the games, the Qualifier gave our girls a great chance to bond as teammates. It brought the team closer together as we supported each other, and ultimately, we ended up winning our division!”
Congratulations to our PPFC U19 girls! We’re anticipating great things for you at the USYS National League Desert Conference this fall.
